A professional shoot, From start to finish

My job isn’t just about taking photos, it’s about making the whole experience easy for you.

That means arriving prepared, working efficiently, and keeping things moving without rushing.

Whether I’m photographing people, spaces, products or projects, I’m looking for the same thing, images that feel real, polished, and purposeful.

Nothing overcooked, nothing misleading, just your business at its best.

How it works

1. Quick chat and a simple plan

We’ll confirm what you need, where the images will be used, and any must-have shots. If you’re not sure yet, I’ll guide you and suggest a straightforward approach.

2. Shoot day, calm and efficient

I work in a tidy, organised way, giving light direction where needed and keeping disruption to a minimum. If it’s a live environment, I’ll work around your team, customers and operations.

3. Edit, delivery and ready-to-use files

I curate and edit the strongest images, then deliver a clean set that’s easy to use across your marketing. You’ll receive files that are ready for web as standard, and I can also supply high-resolution versions for print and press.

What I’ll ask you before we shoot

To keep things smooth, I’ll usually ask for:

  • Location and access details, plus parking if relevant
  • Your ideal dates and any key timings on the day
  • A rough shot list, or a few examples you like
  • Brand guidelines, if you have them
  • Any stakeholders who need to be involved or approve
  • Where the images will be used, web, press, bids, paid campaigns, internal comms

Don’t worry if you don’t have all of this to hand. I’ll keep it simple and help you shape it quickly.

Turnaround and Delivery

I’ll confirm timelines up front and stick to them. Images are delivered via a simple download link, organised into clear folders and logically named so your team can find what they need quickly.

If you’re on a deadline, tell me, I can often prioritise a select set of images first.

Image usage and licensing, made simple

Most clients need images for their website, social, PR, proposals and general marketing, and I’ll make sure your licence matches that from the start.

If you need wider usage, for example, paid advertising, large print campaigns, or third-party use, I’ll flag it early so everything’s clear and agreed.

Reliable, Fully Insured, and Fully Backed Up

I’m fully insured, and I take reliability seriously.

I use the latest professional kit, and I always bring backup bodies, lenses, lighting and media to every shoot, so if anything hiccups on the day, we keep moving without compromise.

It means you can book with confidence, knowing you won’t be let down when the shoot really matters.

Weather and rescheduling

If we’re photographing exteriors and the weather isn’t doing you any favours, I’ll be honest about it.

If rescheduling will give you a much stronger result, I’ll recommend it early rather than delivering images you’re not excited to use.

Ready to get started?

If you already know what you need, send me the location, dates and a rough shot list, and I’ll come back with a clear quote.

If you’re not sure yet, book a quick call, and I’ll help you shape a simple plan.
